A free company name search will assist you in identifying the exact company you are interested in. From this a current company extract will provide you with details of the current address and details of the company together with details of the company's current officeholders and shareholders.

I want to search for a person but I do not know the name of the Company
A personal name search and extract is available. Simply enter a person's surname and given-name(s) and perform a free search for matching names. From the list of matched names simply click on all relevant name(s) and order the extract information. The report will include details of offices and/or shareholding held in companies Australia-Wide.

I want to obtain a copy of a document(s) lodged by a Company.
The company extracts and company details search will provide you with a list of documents lodged by a Company. All you need from this list is the document number(s). Make a note of the document number or select it from the eSearch Document List and obtain a copy of the document.

I want to obtain financial information on a Company.
Please note, not all companies are required to lodge financial information with ASIC.
Financial data on a company is lodged with the ASIC using Form 388.
We recommend that you scan the company's documents lodged list and search for Form 388's. If found, make a note of the document number or select it from the eSearch Document List and obtain a copy of the document.

I want to obtain relevant charges information on a Company.
On January 30, 2012 the Personal Property Securities Register (PPS Register) commenced. The details of current charges will only be available from the PPS Register Further information can be obtained from www.ppsr.gov.au
Details of satisfied charges (as at 30th January 2012) can be obtained from ASIC. Registered Charges lodged by a financial institution on a company were lodged with the ASIC using Form 309. We recommend that you scan the company's documents lodged list and search for Form 309's. If found, make a note of the document number or select it from the eSearch Document List and obtain a copy of the document.
